Sustainability
Being responsible for our environment, also with regard to future generations, has always been important to us. The award of our company with FAIR'N GREEN (https://www.fairandgreen.de/weingut-hahn/), the seal for sustainability in viticulture, supports us in our attitude and spurs us on to constantly improve sustainability. The certification is linked to the achievement of targets in the areas of economy, ecology and social issues across the entire value chain. Our company has been awarded the FAIR'N GREEN seal since 2019.

- Model operation of the nationwide biodiversity project AMBITO

- Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions through e.g. climate-neutral parcel shipping, use of lightweight glass bottles, procurement of green electricity

- No synthetic nitrogen fertilizers
- Use of own organic fertilizer (horse manure)
